Children are ALWAYS welcome at both our Churches.
Christ Church
At the morning 10am services the children's activities can vary:-
First Sunday:- is as the title suggests, on the first Sunday of the month. This is a special all age family service lasting about 45mins which includes children's participation as well as craft and a toddler's play area in the church. Suitable for families with young children or those new to a church service.
Second and Fourth Sunday:- This is a communion for adults in the church but the toddlers and primary aged children go into the hall at the beginning for their own activities with story and craft and come back to join their family near the end when communion is offered.
Third Sunday:- This is a morning worship where craft activities, toys, puzzles and books are organised in the church for toddlers and younger ones. Sometimes it is a child baptism where we welcome them with a special service and also have craft, toys, books and puzzles for toddlers and younger ones during the service.
Fifth Sunday:- This is a joint communion service alternating between Tickenham and Christ Church. When it is at Christ Church, toddlers and primary aged children will have their own activities in the hall the same as the second and fourth sundays
Children are always welcome at Christ Church
For the other 10am services there is always a children's corner available at the back of the church, with soft toys and books for the very young and craft packs and bible quizzes for older ones.
During the communion services at 10am a creche is available in the hall.

THE Q & J CLUB
We are delighted to announce the start of a new childrens and youth group for Tickenham Church. This club will open its doors for the first time on Sunday 7th February at 10.15am. It is designed for kids of all ages from 4 year olds to teenagers and will cover a wide range of activities both indoors and outside, messy and neat. Groups will be split according to age. Club members will be ready to be collected at 11.45am allowing parents time to attend the Tickenham Church service at 10.30am if they wish.
We will meet in Tickenham School Hall on the first sunday of every month (excluding August) where we will have fun, think about faith, have time to chat and plan future sessions with the input of the club members. We may also plan activities for the Family Service in Church the following week (2nd Sunday of the month).
As ever, children and families are welcome at all services at Tickenham Church and there will always be activity sheets, books and small toys for families to use during all of our services.
